Cruises from the Port of Thessaloniki began on Tuesday 29 June for the Celestyal Olympia, a cruise ship operated by Greek cruise line Celestyal Cruises. It is the first transit of the Olympia for this summer and she will drop anchor in Thessaloniki every Tuesday until the end of August.
For the first time in 15 years, the port of Thessaloniki will be the home port of departure and destination for cruises this year, while the Celestyal Olympia and the Celestyal Crystal of Celestyal Cruises will dock a total of 14 times this year.
The “Celestyal Olympia” will visit Thessaloniki, Mykonos, Santorini, Agios Nikolaos in Crete, Rhodes and Limassol in Cyprus. Those embarking and disembarking in Thessaloniki will also have the opportunity to visit Athens. The new route is called “Mythical Archipelagos”.
The cost of the cruise starts from 699 euros and includes accommodation, all meals on board, entertainment on board, unlimited classic drinks, two organized excursions to Rhodes and Limassol, transfer by bus from the port to the town of Mykonos and tips. Port taxes are also included. Children up to 11 years old travel free of charge.
