DAY 1:
ARRIVAL IN THESSALONIKI
Arrival at SKG Thessaloniki airport. Reception at the airport and transfer by eco vehicle to the hotel. Free time for a leisurely walk in the center of Thessaloniki. Dinner at the restaurant, in the center of the city, where we see the process of making bread in a built- in wood oven and we taste fine wines from its rich wine cellar.

DAY 2:
THESSALONIKI
Transfer by city bus in Ano Poli to a workshop of traditional instruments, of a well-known composer – musician, where we will get to know and have direct contact with Greek traditional instruments. Walk in Ano Poli and lunch at a local ouzo bar. Dance and song lesson at “Horodentro”. Afternoon cycling with a guide on the new beach, with stops at attractions such as the White Tower and the statue of Alexander the Great.
Free time enjoying the city.

DAY 3:
THESSALONIKI
Transportation by city bus to the Folklore Museum of Macedonia Thrace. Food tour in different parts of the city and lunch in one of them. Visit to the Rotonda and the archaeological sites located in Navarino.

DAY 4:
IMATHIA (VERGINA / VERIA)
Departure by ecological vehicle from Thessaloniki to the “Archaeological site of Vergina”. Walk in the alleys of Veria and visit a traditional confectionery workshop (revani), the monument of the Apostle Paul and the city library. Accommodation at the hotel and rest. Departure for the village of Meliki, where first we will visit the house of a well-known dance teacher where there will be a demonstration of weaving traditional costumes on the loom and then the “Ethnographic Center George Meliki – Mask Research Center” where we will see the exhibition and participate in a local dance class. Food in a local taverna accompanied by music. Overnight in Veria.

DAY 5:
NAOUSSA
Transfer by ecological vehicle, to the Macedonian tombs of Lefkada and the School of Aristotle in Mieza. Then transfer to Naoussa. Walk in the sights of the city, visit to the museum of wine and vine – wine tasting.
Visit and walk in the traditional settlement of Arkochori. Dinner in a traditional taverna.

DAY 6:
OLYMPUS AREA / PALIAMPELA / KORINOS / LITOCHORO
Transfer to the village of Paliampela, to a traditional pottery workshop – pottery class with the potter Giannis Stagkidis. Delicious sweet “loukoumades” and Greek coffee in square of Kolindros village and visit to the local folklore museum. Lunch with local delicacies and wine tasting in the cellar of a traditional taverna in Kitros village. Pudding in a traditional patisserie in Korinos village. Free time – Swimming on a nearby beach ( it depends of the season ). Overnight at hotel in Litohoro.

DAY 7:
OLYMPUS AREA / LITOCHORO / KATERINI / RACHI
Breakfast and Transfer by ecological vehicle in the city of Katerini. Walking in the city centre and in the city park, with stops in local shops for local delicacies. Departure to the small village of “Ano Milia”. We admire the landscape, visiting picturesque chapels. In the small village of “Kato Milia”, we visit the Folklore Museum and a traditional cafe. Departure for Rachi village. Bicycle ride in the vineyards and cherries. Wine tasting at a winery and food with traditional music and songs by locals. Overnight at hotel in Litochoro.

DAY 8:
OLYMPUS AREA / DION
Visit to the archaeological site of Dion, the holy city of the Macedonians. We continue the tour with a visit to the Museum of Dion, where among other things we will admire the Hydraulys of Dionysus. An ancient theatre class (drama or comedy) will be followed in the Ancient Park of Dion (weather permitting). Lunch in a local taverna. Return to Litochoro. Leisure.

DAY 9:
LITOCHORO VILLAGE / OLYMPUS MOUNTAIN
We start our day with a visit to the Maritime Museum and “Olympus National Park Information Center”. After a short stop at the historic Monastery of Agios Dionysios of Olympus we head to Prionia. Hiking in the amazing gorge of Enipeas, we see the old monastery of Olympus, the sacred cave, the waterfalls. Picnic by the waterfalls. Free time for rest. Dinner in a traditional Greek taverna and overnight in Litochoro.

DAY 10:
PIERIA (LIVITHRA / PALEOS PANTELEIMONAS / PALEOI PORI)
Transfer by ecological vehicle to Ancient Leivithra, an ancient city at the foot of Olympus (archaeological site – tour). In the same place, a Greek language lesson through Greek culture. Later we pass through the magnetic field of Olympus. Transfer to the traditional village of Paleos Panteleimonas, meeting with locals and visiting a handicraft workshop. Visit to the village of Paleoi Pori and lunch at the traditional taverna in the shadow of old planes.

DAY 11:
DEPARTURE
Breakfast and transfer to SKG airport.
Variations
If this trip takes place in June, the visitor can attend the “Prometheus” events that take place once a year in honor of the ancient Greek worldview. People are dressed like ancients and follow their habits (food, literature, philosophy, music, dance, poetry). From the first of July until the end of August, the famous “Olympus Festival ORFEO” is held at the foot of Mt Olympus in the ancient places. If this trip takes place during this time, the visitor can attend a performance (Ancient Drama, Ancient Comedy, Concert, etc.) at the Ancient Theater in Dion. In the summer, June to August, there are authentic traditional Greek festivals (panigiria) in the villages of the Olympus area. If during this trip, there is such a festival (panigiri) then we will party and dance with the local inhabitants.
