Historical MYthic paTHS: A history that starts from the “myth” of cosmogony and continues with the glorious years of Alexander the Great where Thessaloniki, Pieria / Olympus and Imathia were part of his legendary kingdom. The region has stories of the passage of the Apostle Paul where Greece was the country through which the Christian religion was brought to the Western world, while its later history is rich with the revolution against the Ottoman Empire, the Balkan and World Wars, up to the present day. History, myths and legends can be told both in museums, archaeological/cultural sites with guides but also from the mountain or tour leaders during the various activities (e.g. mountain hiking).

We walk the secret paths of the legendary kingdom of Alexander the Great and learn about its rich history from antiquity to the present day. Olympus, the home of the Gods, Pieria, Veria and Thessaloniki, the second largest city in Greece, invite us to an unforgettable journey through history and myth and touch us with their beauty, traditions, flavours and the warm hospitality of the locals.
