National Championship of OPTIMIST U13 boats
The pulse of another important sporting event, the OPTIMIST U13 Panhellenic Boat Championship, for ages from 7 to 12 years old, takes place in Paralia Katerini. More than 600 athletes are expected to offer a rich spectacle, excitement and high performance to the fans of Katerini and the wider region. The Greek Sailing Federation, the Nautical Club of Katerini (N.O.KAT) and the Municipality of Katerini are responsible for the organization, while the races will be held with the kind support of: the Holy Metropolis of Citrus, Katerini and Platamonos and the Regional Unity of Pieria. The SeaWay Festival At the same time, the SeaWay Festival will be organized for the first time in facilities near the Yacht Club, which will present to the public products and services of sponsors related to the sport and the sea. There will also be a special food and drink area (food festival) and outdoor activities for young and old (treasure hunts, horse riding, sand games, etc.).
