The pulse of another important sporting event, the OPTIMIST U13 Panhellenic Boat Championship, for ages from 7 to 12 years old, takes place in Paralia Katerini. More than 600 athletes are expected to offer a rich spectacle, excitement and high performance to the fans of Katerini and the wider region. The Greek Sailing Federation, the Nautical Club of Katerini (N.O.KAT) and the Municipality of Katerini are responsible for the organization, while the races will be held with the kind support of: the Holy Metropolis of Citrus, Katerini and Platamonos and the Regional Unity of Pieria. The SeaWay Festival At the same time, the SeaWay Festival will be organized for the first time in facilities near the Yacht Club, which will present to the public products and services of sponsors related to the sport and the sea. There will also be a special food and drink area (food festival) and outdoor activities for young and old (treasure hunts, horse riding, sand games, etc.). Soon, the organisers will present the full programme and exhibits of the first Sea Way Festival. Open Ways in collaboration with NOCAT are organising the 1st Sea Way Festival.  

                    Katerini, 24/03/2022   PRESS RELEASE Sea Way Festival at Paralia – Katerini #TopEvent #OpenParty #Exhibit #Food #Fun The Katerini Yacht Club and “Open Ways: Events & Travel” presents the SeaWay Festival, organized in parallel with the OPTIMIST U13 National Championship of Boats, for ages 7 to 12 years old, in Paralia Katerini, on 16-20 April, in facilities near the Katerini Yacht Club.  It is noted that the National Championship is co-organized by the Hellenic Sailing Federation, the Katerini Yacht Club (N.O.KAT) and the Municipality of Katerini with the kind support of the Holy Metropolis of Kitrous, Katerini and Platamonos and the Regional Unity of Pieria. The SeaWay Festival is developed in three thematic sections with the sea at its core. Specifically, it presents: – Exhibits: products and services of sponsors and pavilion renters. – Food (Food Festival): food proposals as well as beverages, cocktails, ice cream and confectionery. – Outdoor activities: sports, crafts, crafts, events, music, art for young and old.  Among the activities taking place are: – Riding on the Sand – Sistron – Master Junior Chef – Dance – Beach Volley – Beach Soccer – Archery – Easter Egg Hunt – Sea stories – Musical events – Karate – Handicrafts – crafts – Cycling (& family bike) – Bazaar – Food Festival and other surprises…!
